Hello everyone! Today I decided to show you guys some of my favorite and most used products right now that are under 10 dollars! I hope you guys like this!
This is a perfect and easy eye look. I do this on days when I don't want to do an elaborate eye look. Just this on the lid and a darker shade in the crease. Boom, 1 minute eye look that looks like it took 10 minutes. This is pigmented and blends out really nicely.
This got a lot of hype when it first came out mainly because it was limited addition. Drugstore highlights that are really good and inexpensive are hard to find so I made sure to get my hands on it (it is no longer limited edition). It is a really pigmented and creamy highlight that looks good on pretty much all skin tones. This is a highlight that is easily muted or easily built up into a high shine highlight.
I have this obsession with nail polish even though I'm pretty bad at it. These are not only under $10, but they are also my favorite nail polishes ever. Out of all of the more expensive and high end nail polishes, I always reach for these. They last a long time and dry super fast (which I need because I cannot wait more than 15 minutes for my nails to dry).
This is a really good cream highlighter. It easily blends out and looks really pretty and natural on the skin but it can also look stronger if you build it up. Like some cream highlighters, it doesn't show yours pores. Personally, I think that it is very comparable to the Watts Up highlighter by Benefit.
This was my everyday blush for like two months, and that is saying a lot since I like to change up my everyday products pretty frequently. It is a really pretty mauve color that looks good on a lot of skin tones. There is just the right amount of sparkle where it looks good and flattering, but not to the point where it sinks into your skin and looks splotchy. In my opinion, you don't even need a highlighter because it give a natural glow already.
Of course, I had to put the infamous Color Pop eye shadows on here. They are so creamy and have an amazing formula. I know they are powder but they are so creamy they feel like a whole different formula all together. The colors are all so pigmented and every time I use them I'm surprised that they are only $5.
Price: $5 per shadow
One of my favorite things about this bronzer is how big this pan is. And, because I'm so pale, I can even contour with it so it's like a 2 in 1. I also like this more for glowy looks because of the little bit of sparkle that overlays on the top. This is a really bendable and build-able bronzer too so if you want it to be a little darker you don't have to worry about the product getting cakey or starting to rub off.
These are one of my favorite drugstore liquid lipsticks. I have to admit, I'm not the biggest fan of liquid lipsticks in general but these are one of the exceptions along with Ofra liquid lipsticks and a few others but that's for another day. These can take a while to dry but they don't make your lips crusty and feel pretty hydrating (always make sure to put on chapstick before liquid lipstick though!).
I know there are a lot of highlighters on this entry but that's one of my favorite parts of makeup and it can be hard to find good drugstore ones so I feel like it's necessary. Anyways, ColorPop highlighter are b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l and super pigmented. The formula is somewhere between a powder and cream like the eyeshadows so they are kind of tricky to blend. Usually, I use my middle finder to apply it to the top of my cheek bones (my middle finger because it's gentle) and bring it up the rest of my cheek bone with a fluffy brush and it ends up looking really nice and is super build-able.
I've heard a lot about dupes for the naked 3 palette so I decided to put it to the test. This is the Naked 3 palette and Maybelline Blushed Nudes palette.
Because this palette doesn't have names for the eyeshadows i used numbers:)
Palette Price: $9.99
Palette Price: $59.00
Not all of the colors are the same, so I wouldn't say this is an exact dupe; however, I did find some that are similar. I swatched them side by side (Maybelline on the top, Urban Decay on the bottom) and I found that the Maybelline shadows are not as pigmented and have more fallout than the Naked palette.
As you guys can tell, the Maybelline palette is much smaller and comes to a total of .34 oz. (.028 oz. per shadow) and the Urban Decay palette is larger and comes to a total of .60 oz. (.05 oz. per shadow). One other downside is that the Maybelline palette doesn't have a mirror.
Overall both of these palettes are great! If you are willing to invest in one of these types of palettes I would definitely say to go for the Naked palette. On the other hand, if you are on a budget I would say get the Maybelline palette. Even though these are not exact dupes they are both very good. On a normal day with both of these in my collection, I would reach for the Naked palette, but like I said before they are very comparable. I really hope that you liked this and I hope it helped. If you are interested in either of these I will have links below as well as places you could purchase them. Also, leave comments for anything that you guys would want to see next! Thanks for reading, XOXO.
